Xinyu Zhou received his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Technology from Changchun Institute of Technology in 2017 and his Master’s degree in Software Engineering from Jilin University in 2020. He is currently a Ph.D. student and research assistant at the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering at Indiana University. His interests lie in algorithm design and mathematical modeling, and his research focuses on the intersection of bioinformatics and machine learning. In his daily life, Xinyu Zhou enjoys playing basketball, traveling and camping.
