Pengtao Dang received a B.E. degree in E-commerce from Qinghai University and an M.S. degree in Software Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology, respectively. He is currently a PhD student and a graduate research assistant in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Purdue University, Indianapolis. His research interests are broadly at algorithms, mathematical modeling and optimization, with a focus on applications in deep learning. In his personal life, he likes to watch movies, documentaries, stand-up comedy and anime.
